The short answer
Choose the calendars and billing period you want to review, map each event to a client and project, apply your rate and rounding rule, resolve entries that need attention, and preview the totals. HourSift then creates a PDF or CSV timesheet without changing the original calendar events.
HourSift has no account or developer backend and does not upload calendar events, client names, rates, drafts, or exports.
Calendar to timesheet, step by step
Choose the calendars that contain billable work
Grant calendar access, then select only the device calendars you want HourSift to read. You can explore the review workflow with isolated sample events first.
Create clients, projects, and billing rules
Add a client and optional project, choose the currency and hourly rate, and set the rounding rule used for billable duration.
Select the billing period
Choose the date range to review. Map each calendar event to the right client and project so the timesheet can calculate billable hours and amount.
Review every billable entry
Compare original and billable time. Resolve missing mappings, overlaps, changed events, exclusions, and previous-export warnings before relying on the total.
Preview and export PDF or CSV
Review one final draft with matching totals, then save or share a client-ready PDF or spreadsheet-friendly CSV through the system destination you choose.

HourSift exports a reviewed PDF timesheet or a spreadsheet-friendly CSV with matching totals.
