How can we help?
HourSift reads calendars already configured on your Apple or Android device, then keeps review and export work local to that device.
Getting started
- Choose calendars and grant Calendar Full Access on iPhone or iPad, or read-only Calendar access on Android.
- Create a client, project, hourly rate, rounding rule, and mapping.
- Select a billing period and review each entry.
- Resolve Needs Review items before generating PDF or CSV.
- Mark a generated report as exported only when you want local duplicate warnings.
Calendar access
If access is denied or revoked on iPhone or iPad, open Settings for HourSift and allow Full Access to Calendars. On Android, open HourSift’s App info, choose Permissions, and allow Calendar access. Event text is hidden while permission is unavailable, and HourSift never changes Calendar events.
If a calendar or event is missing, confirm that the account is visible and syncing in the device’s system Calendar app, then check the selected calendars and billing period in HourSift. HourSift does not connect directly to Google, Exchange, iCloud, or another calendar service and cannot repair an account that the device Calendar is not syncing.
Files and history
On Apple devices, generated files are sent through the system Share Sheet. On Android, use the system document picker to save a file or the system Sharesheet to send it to another app. Saving or sharing does not automatically write HourSift history; use Mark as exported when you want local duplicate and change warnings.
HourSift history stores report summaries and event fingerprints, not copies of exported files or complete Calendar event text. A copy saved outside HourSift is controlled by the destination you selected.
Local data and deletion
HourSift has no account, backend, developer analytics, tracking, or cross-device sync. Optional Google Mobile Ads appear only after consent, and a one-time US$1.99 purchase removes them permanently. You can delete individual history records, clear all history, delete clients and related local records, or use Delete All App Data. Uninstalling removes the app container but not files you previously saved elsewhere.
Contact
Email support@iagent7.com. Please do not send confidential Calendar contents; a redacted example and your device platform and OS version are usually enough.
